Type : E (NM)2 piece coupling design. Necessary to displace axially one of the coupled machines to replace the elastic element.
Type : G3 piece coupling design. Equipped with an axial claw ring, which enables to turn either the driven or driving machine separately. Sliding claw ring allows inspection or replacement of the elastic element without displacing the coupled machines.

NORMEX COUPLING TYPE E a torsionally elastic and puncture-proof claw coupling. It balances out angular, radial and axial shaft mis alignments within defined limits. The coupling transfers the torque via pressure loadable , elastic buffers of Perbunan ( Pb) which are joined together as an intermediate ring. The elastic intermediate ring can cushion impacts a nd torsional vibrations; it is oil-tight and electrically conductive.
